Abhilash Kumar Mukhi - Designer
I'm Abhilash Kumar Mukhi, an emerging architectural designer driven by a deep curiosity for how spaces shape human experience. My work is grounded in a thoughtful balance of hands-on practice and academic exploration.
With a Bachelor’s in Architecture from India and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, US, my work reflects a sensitivity to materials, a strong contextual awareness, and a forward-thinking design ethos. I’ve contributed to a wide range of disciplines, including residential, Interiors, commercial, educational, and Furniture Design. From conceptual design and detailing to site visits and mentoring in both professional studios and academic settings.
My design philosophy is rooted in creating environments that are functional, adaptable, and deeply connected to their context. I explore vernacular traditions, sustainable strategies, and emerging digital tools to craft architecture that is meaningful, responsible, and rooted in place.
